Amish garlic from Terroir Seeds planted October 11.  1/2 of the planting, the half in the foreground of the photo, was treated with Myco+ root inoculant.  Seed was vernalized in the refrigerator for 2 weeks prior to planting.  Set at ~3" depth, rows 1 foot spacing and 6" spacing within rows.

The bed was prepped September 23 with Azomite and 2-3" of rough homemade compost lightly turned in and then 1-2" screened compost lightly cultivated.  October 21 the bed was covered with 6-8" of leaves.
